I hope I've not upset anyone by coming out as a beardist. I can live with a neat one, but those ones without the moustache to match are WRONG.
Adolescents with pube beards should be slapped really hard.

The best bit last night however was Nick picking on that silent Asian guy (not the bearded one, the other one) saying 'I made it my business to watch you' . . very threatening. I was rolling about the couch laughing Yes, lol, me too.

I'm pretty cross about the scheduling of the Alan Whicker series, I only knew about it because of you, Patrick, and I caught a couple of minutes of it the other night, it was very interesting. I guess it won't interest people younger than us that much (am I wrong?) because you and I remember the days when there were only 3 channels and they closed down for rests during the day and shut off at bedtime (after telling you to go to bed and playing the National Anthem - LOL! can you believe all that ever happened?!) and so Whicker was watched by everyone. Even my sister, just 3 years younger, experienced a bit more choice and diversity in programming so she doesn't have the same ''TV memories'' that I do. Still, this Whicker series seems to be under promoted (?) and not scheduled at the right times. If they are putting it up against the Apprentice, one of their biggest shows presumably, they must not rate it much. It's also shown on Saturdays at 9:40.(pm) You've put the proverbial finger on the button there. Did we all do Alan Whicker impressions in the seventies - or was that just me, cos I had the glasses! I suppose when young one didn't really pay much attention - but he's such a good story teller that you would start to pay attention by ones teens. It says a lot about him that at 84!! He has created, written, narrated and presented this programme - and yes - it does deserve better! Poxy BBC. Shouldn't it be scheduled when people won't fall asleep in their chairs? Like 8pm. Or 6.30.

Deborah would be looking for new teeth if she was on my team.

The Apprentice made it to the lunchtime news/current affairs spot yesterday. Hang on - a new thread, I think!

That guy Ben - what a larf! That was the most disgusting piece of gym equipment ever produced or as Adrian Chiles put it: ''it was Shit''. Philip was annoying me until he stood up for the woman who gave the presentation, he was very decent and took a risk because she had clearly been short listed for the chop by Deborah. And the woman herself is pretty good too, just chugging away at her own vision without allowing high drama, she didn't let Deborah get to her. She is interesting competition. I can't see who SrAlan's favourites are yet.

I'm glad Beardy got the sack. I couldn't concentrate for looking at him. Does his chin go right down to the end of his beard? He was pretty useless but, in all fairness, I think Dur-brain (James) should have been kicked out. He'll be for the chop next week.

He sacked the wrong person. That Ben should have gone, for his lack of integrity.
The other two fkd up. They admitted it. He tried to shift the blame, he made horrible accusations about other people . . . .
I HATE BEN. She did not deserve to be fired tonight.

Pure theatre. It's not a case of predicting who should be fired, but who will be fired. Ben has been kept in to keep the pot boiling. The girl, to be fair, was weak. She could have stated her case far more clearly and in a way that would have given Ben no come-back.

Incidentally - I forget where/who it was said that it wasn't - but they (once again) announced at the end of Whicker that all the episodes were available on iPlayer.
Poor fellow - got back from the current round of globetrotting to find his house had burst a pipe damaging quite a bit of his archive!

They so should have sacked Ben for having that frigging awful stupid beardy thing going on under his chin. He deserves a bloody good hiding for that alone. And those beady little eyes, darting every which way. Oooooo, he's top of my list to be sacked next week.

Just found this on another site talking about Ben - Interesting. All the contenders have probably been economical with the truth I don't doubt, but this little bloke is starting to annoy me. Still his mother probably loves him.
