Trubs is right. Trifle doesn't have jelly. However, I believe there are ready-made desserts which are (wrongly) called trifle that have a sort of jelly in them. Bleurgh. So, ya boo. Then those ones are shyte

my mums hopme made trifle had jelly in it. at the bottom. AND IT WIS THE BEST BIT!
(the cat litter was the worstbit. we didnt even have a cat, she mustve bought it specially)

It's a confused dessert. It can't make it's mind up what it wants to be (plus I don't really like cream)

trifle is rubbish, QWUITE FRANKLY. but JELLY IS GOOD. i dont think people eat trifle anymore anyway WISNT it all a bit 1970's?
