It's Treigh-ful, where the 'eigh' sound rhymes with the 'eigh' sound in height. (Which is probably the same as how Everso pronounces 'hate'.) So why did you say " Trigh-fill. Actually I can't find the word to describe how I say the first part. It's not really Trigh to rhyme with high. It's a sorty of aeeei sound."? How the hell do you say "high" then? I say it as "Haeeei" This is getting ridiculous. I vote we don't talk at all, but pass each other notes.

Good idea. I doubt we'll be able to understand Riot or Weyland and it would be embarrassing to keep asking them to repeat themselves.

Actually, a typewriter wouldn't be a bad idea. Saves having to write the notes by hand.

I will say 'trifle' in Lambeth and you can choose when I was right and when I was wrong. Good answer.

high is the same as hi. as in hi dee hi. NO! High rhymes with sky rhymes with my rhymes with fly. Hi is the same kind of 'i' song as in height, trifle, kite, etc.

Good idea. I doubt we'll be able to understand Riot or Weyland and it would be embarrassing to keep asking them to repeat themselves. I will speak like Taggart. English people understood him. I will say 'There's been a murrderr' over and over like Taggart. (Glasgow people always get slagged off for saying 'murrderr' like they did in Taggart.)

Don't worry about Lambeth, pet. I will interpret for you. I have worked with Glasvegans, Kelso folk, and even Dundonians. I draw the line at Edinburgh, though.
