Easy dessert using Amaretto biscuits... Put biscuits in bowl, soak with Amaretto and dowse with chocolate sauce. Serve with either creme fraiche or thick cream. Or ice cream, even. I never understood amaretto biscuits - until now.

What's yellow and dangerous? A Dublin Bus. (This is entirely tasteless as a Dublin Bus once ran over a Busstop queue and killed people).

ANything as long as it has cream or something similar but never custard. How did an invalid food come to be used to destroy all English desserts? I love custard, please, no more nastiness about custard. Pleeease. I'm sure I had a thread on Custard somewhere - Must have been "In another place" I had a right old urge for it last month some time and had some nearly every night for a week! That's it! Best B was in bed with a sore throat and custard's very good for that being all warm and gloopy etc so we had lots of that!

Never had mushroom and courgette lasagne? Bon, I've never knowingly had courgettes. I'm not even very sure what they are. Are they the hot cucumbers? I've a recipe with courgettes in a layered salad with new potatoes in a "potato salad" yoghurt dressing, red onion slices courgette slices, red pepper slices thinly sliced bits of chicken filllets. It's very chunky for a salad but quite filling. I don't think much of courgette myself - but another nice way of having it is oven roasted with melted blue cheese drizzled over the top - I'm not a fan of that either but it's quite a nice combination.
