"Of course it's indecent - I put it in myself." You're a wicked boy, Aubrey. Go and take a cold shower this minute! [Were you dreaming you were a fly on my wall?]

CSI Miami - Downloaded a few seasons of this a few weeks ago, been watching a few a night...pretty good. Also in the process of DLing Space 1999...really looking forward to seeing these again, I haven't watched any since they were originally broadcast back in the late 70's. AH

Any choices for Christmas folks? I'll definitely be settling down with the Victoria Wood Morecambe and Wise biopic. Looking forward to Oz Clarke's latest drinking session on Tuesday. A few gems on the radio as usual. Can't think of anything else at the mo.......

Midnight Mass from Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral on BBC1!
Possible special appearance from ME, because although the proper Cathedral choir will be doing all the best bits, the choir I belong to has been asked to sit together and be miked for the hymns because Catholic congregations are so dismally bad at singing.

Bloody heretic. I trust you'll be singing Faith of Our Fathers. (Don't choirs always sit together?)

We won't be a choir, though - we will be pretending to be ordinary members of the congregation.

We won't be a choir, though - we will be pretending to be ordinary members of the congregation. In that case I can give you a handy tip: don't wear any orange sashes or bowler hats. A black mantilla and shamrock brooch would be fine. If I can make it, I might even be there, swaying near the doors, upholding family tradition.

...I can give you a handy tip: don't wear any orange sashes or bowler hats... Thanks; it's useful to know that. But on the basis of who got in shot last time we did this, the best thing you can do is position yourself between two stunning blondes (assuming you're not one yourself).

That's a good way of getting across a Zebra crossing, as well.

Funny, I ran for the bus the other day. We have a park and ride near us, which is handy. The driver did wait - and then I had to get my concession card out whilst gasping for breath. I didn't stop gasping for several minutes. I really should get fit.
Did I tell you I'm joining a yoga class in the New Year? I phoned the lady the other day. This is all on Riot's recommendation. I intend to get supple.

Can't stand Yentob, but I'll just have to make the effort on this occasion. (Don't rely on the times listed -- different regions can schedule differently.)

A few gems on the radio as usual. Can't think of anything else at the mo....... I won't rely on terestrial or Sky TV for Christmas viewing, it's full of dross and modern rubbish. Some DVD's/Blu-Rays wot I will most likely be watching because they make me feel like it really is christmas... Indiana Jones Trilogy Sinbad Trilogy Jason and the Argonauts Ben-Hur Journey to the Center of the Earth Mysterious Island At the Earths Core Land that Time Forgot People that Time Forgot The Time Machine Zulu The Man Who Would be King Spartacus 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea DVD's I meant to buy in for crimbo this year but didn't get around to. Cleopatra Jesus of Nazereth (super extended cut) Quo Vadis The Robe DVD's wot I am getting for crimble... Star Trek TNG - Complete Series (make it so) Lexx - Complete Series (at last!!!) Obviously, I'll keep my eye out for anything that tickles my wotsits on TV, but it'll probably come down to catching "Oliver" or "Scrooge" if they show them. AH

Best Beloved is looking to doing a DVD/Video fest too. Such a shame Christmas has come to this. Irony is, pretty much everything I've listed used to be shown over the festive season, there was always a good classic movie on, no matter what time or channel you were watching...now it's crap like "Shrek" and various other modern bilge. I expect they will show a Bond movie or two though...and I'd appreciate some of the new "Poirot" adventures as well. AH
