Why, thankyou, blessed ladies. I haven't been around much lately 'tis true - a silent protest against Riot's previous avatar. I warned her I wouldn't speak to her again unless she tidied herself up a bit. Now she's upgraded to Gorgeous Babe I may well return to spread the Word again.  You're not looking too bad yourself, Trubs. I might start speaking to you again too. x |

I don't know how (she said, hanging her head in shame). 1. Get yourself a photobucket account. (Www.photobucket.com) 2. Upload to it (it's very user friendly at the interface) a photo that you want to use as your avatar. You can google 'free avatars' to get some good ones if you like and then just right-click on the online one you want to save it to your pc before uploading it to photobucket. 3. Modify your profile, and add the 'DIRECT LINK' code from Photobucket to the avatar bit. It's probably more complicated than this, and someone like Rob or Patrick could explain it better. But out of sociability and commitment, you really should learn. |

I just googled for an image and inserted the url.
He's a bit squashed, so I'll have to find another, but he'lll do for now.
I foresee hours of fun ahead.

Under the line where you put that url are two boxes for avatar dimensions, width and height. You can unsquash him there. Eg: width=70 height=95  If you right click on any picture and select 'properties' it will show you its dimensions, then you can just do some maths to shrink it. |
